Our Boards
Board of Elders
The Board of Elders is concerned with the spiritual life of the congregation, both individually and collectively. The Elders see that the true Word of God is taught, and that worship services are conducted decently and in order.
The Elders also keep in touch with members who are not regular in church attendance. They encourage and counsel them in Christian love and concern to resume regular attendance so they can receive the spiritual blessings of regular worship and continue to grow in faith.
Board for Parish Education
This board oversees the church's Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, adult Bible classes, Youth Ministry, Education Grant program and various family life activities.
The members of this board also act as hostesses for our Sunday morning coffee hours on the fourth Sunday of each month from September to May.
Board of Evangelism
The Board of Evangelism plans and implements internal and community-based evangelism efforts, including promotion and public relations programs. Members of this board call on new residents in the area and contact visitors who have expressed an interest in receiving additional information about St. Paul's.
Board of Stewardship
The Board of Stewardship promotes and encourages the proper stewardship of members' time, talents, and financial support. This board monitors the financial status of our Congregation on a regular basis and prepares analyses and appropriate reports.
The Board of Stewardship also sponsors Thrivent Financial's (formerly AAL) "Simply Giving" program which provides members the opportunity to make contributions via electronic fund transfers.
Another function of the Board of Stewardship is to make lay calls on new members to welcome them and help to assimilate them into their new church home.
Board of Trustees
Administers the real and personal property of the congregation, including real estate, buildings, securities, money, documents and anything else of value. Trustees are empowered to enter into any contract, sign documents for and in the name of the congregation.
