Ministries
Library
St. Paul's Library includes books on many subjects, periodicals and videos for all ages. It is located on the church's main level. New books, periodicals, and videos are constantly being added for the convenience of our members.
The library is run on the "honor" system. After your selection has been made, fill out the card in the cover pocket, and deposit it in the box that is provided. After you have finished reading your book or periodical, or viewing the video, return it to the library and place it in the return box.
Parish Nurse Ministry
This group of dedicated women coordinate the physical health of congregational members with spiritual care offered by
the pastor and others.
They present programs to the congregation as needed, offer CPR and exercise classes, home visits to shut-ins, hospital visits to long-term patients, and arrange transportation and short respite care as needed.
Presently, the Parish Nurses offer free blood pressure screening in the church library on the first Sunday of each month. They also keep our First Aid Kit stocked and up to date. The kit is located in the ushers' room, directly across from our library.
Our Parish Nurses also keep St. Paul's members informed about pertinent and timely health issues
through the various issues of the weekly Pipeline.
Prison Ministry
This ministry purchases Bibles and marks pages
in the Bibles, outlining the scripture necessary to learn of every person's salvation. These Bibles are given to
the Chaplain at the Milwaukee County Jail. Items for the jail residents are also collected.
CD Ministry
Our CD ministry provides a CD of the 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning service to all of our homebound members.
St. Paul's also provides a CD player for those homebound members who
need one.
Audio engineers from our congregation set up the recording equipment each weekend and after the
service is recorded, they make copies for the homebound members of the congregation. On Monday morning,
the CDs are mailed, along with that service's bulletin, to each
homebound member.
Tellers
The committee of Tellers meets on a pre-determined day to count, record, and deposit all monies received by the congregation and make out written reports.
