        ATTENTION artists: Beginners & Advanced

         Did
you know that St. Paul's has an art club
         that meets every Thursday afternoon,
September
 through May, in Reichmann Hall,
 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.?

The North Shore Art Club started with a group of
four artists that were taking a class at Brown Deer
High School through MATC. They enjoyed each other's
company and decided to meet every Monday
evening at the Brown Deer Village Hall to paint.
Other artists joined them later.  The club then
decided to meet in the daytime rather
than at night and the Brown Deer Village
Recreation Department suggested that they meet
at Algonquin School, where the Brown Deer
 Seniors met.

When the Brown Deer Seniors moved their meeting
place to St. Paul's, the art club moved along with them.
Anybody who enjoys painting may join the group.
There are no fees. Everyone brings his/her own paints
and supplies. Beginners as well as experienced
artists are welcome.  If you are interested and need
more information, please call the church office,
 414.355.5030, and someone will contact you . . .
or just come to Reichmann Hall next Thursday
 at 1:00 o'clock.

St. Paul's has been hosting a Senior Dining Center since
September, 2007. This service is available to any individual
who is 60 years old, or older, regardless of income. While
there is no charge, a donation of $2.00 is appreciated and
helps to significantly defray the cost of the meal.  A typical
lunch includes:  an entree, potato, rice or noodles, a vegetable,
bread, milk, coffee and dessert.  Low fat milk and sugar-free
substitutes are available.

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin along
with the Milwaukee County Department on Aging
 sponsor the centers.
Meals are served Monday through Fridays and the doors
open at  9:30 a.m. to allow for social time, and meals
are served at 11:30 a.m. Menus are published
 every Wednesday morning in
the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Food section
as well as community newspapers and at each meal site.

Transportation to select dining centers is available
at no cost through the Department on Aging.
 For transportation information, please
contact 414.289.6874.

To make reservations at St. Paul's dining center, please

We are pleased to announce that St. Paul's has
opened its doors in welcome to Rev. Yia Zong Vang
 and the Hmong Community.

This group has grown from six members to
twenty-three in just a few short months and
is now holding its worship service in our
sanctuary at 3:00 p.m. each Sunday.

We ask the Lord's continued blessings on this
new ministry at St. Paul's -- Brown Deer.

The weekly Ladies' Bible Study meets each
Monday in Reichmann Hall, (September-- May)
          1:00 p.m., with Marlys Taege-Moberg
       leading the study hour.
We close promptly at 2:00 p.m.

Do you know the main points of each
book of the Bible?  Do you realize
what each one says to and about women?

"Women Through the Bible" is the new study book
for the coming year. Each lesson will focus on a
different book, examining its highlights and
looking at the women mentioned in the book.
 What was their role?
What happened to them?
Where was the Lord in their lives?
What can we learn from them that will help us
trust and draw closer to the Lord today?

The Ladies'  Bible Study is open to all women
who enjoy exploring God's Word. You do not
have to be a member of St. Paul's. Participants
are free to join in the discussion if they desire,
or they may simply listen. Either way, you'll
enjoy good Christian fellowship and grow
 in faith and Scriptural understanding.

Come and discover nuggets of Christian truth
that  will stay with you throughout life.
